One workspace, three jobs

Plan the work, run the day, report without the busywork.

Most tools handle projects and leave daily operations to chat groups and spreadsheets. Ovelit Tasks handles both, and the reports come from the same data.

Plan the work

Spaces for departments, lists for projects and queues, tasks with subtasks and checklists. See it as a list, a board, a calendar, a table or a timeline.

  • Custom statuses per space
  • Multiple assignees and watchers
  • Dependencies and recurring tasks

Run the day

Daily check-ins pre-filled from each person's tasks. Routines that create the opening checklist every working day. Intake forms that turn requests into tasks.

  • Blockers flagged for managers
  • Every routine run is logged
  • Public or internal form links

Report without busywork

Overdue work, throughput, on-time rate, cycle time, workload against capacity, timesheets and goals. No dashboard to build, no weekly spreadsheet.

  • Status history stored from day one
  • Workload by person
  • CSV export of tasks and time

Plan work

One task, five ways to see it.

Every list opens as a list, board, calendar, table or timeline. Drag a card to change its status, drag a task to a new day to reschedule it, filter by person, date, priority or tag, and the view stays in the link you share.

List
Grouped by status, person, priority or due date, with inline add.
Board
Columns per status. Drag to move work forward.
Calendar
Month view by due date, with an unscheduled tray.
Table
Bulk edit status, priority, dates and owners.
Timeline
Start to due bars across five weeks.
My work
Overdue, today, upcoming and action items for you.

Run the day

The daily work that never fits a project plan.

Daily check-ins

Each person answers three questions: what I finished, what I am doing today, what is blocking me. The answers start pre-filled from their tasks, so it takes a minute. Managers see the whole team on one page, blockers first.

Routines

Opening checklists, weekly stock counts, month-end closing. Set it once for every day, every working day, a weekday or a date in the month. Each run becomes a task with its checklist, so you can see who did it and when.

Intake forms

Share a link for IT requests, purchase requests or client briefs. Each submission becomes a task in the right list, assigned and prioritised, without anyone copying from chat.

Report without busywork

Answers for managers, not a dashboard to build.

Every status change is stored with its time, so the numbers are real: how much the team finished each week, how much was on time, how long work takes from started to done, and who is overloaded this week.

  • Overview: open, overdue, due this week, done in the last 7 days
  • Workload: each person's open work and estimated hours against capacity
  • Timesheets: hours per person per day, exportable to CSV
  • Check-in record: who posted each day and which blockers came up
  • Goals: targets that track numbers or completed tasks in a list
  • Project updates: on track, at risk or off track, posted on each list

Automations

When this happens, do that.

Pick a trigger, add conditions, choose actions. Rules never trigger each other, so they cannot loop.

When a task is created in Requests assign Tanvir and set due in 2 days
When the status changes to In review notify the team lead
When a task becomes overdue set priority to Urgent

Approvals

Sign-off without chasing.

Ask anyone in the workspace to approve a task. They get it in their inbox, approve or request changes with a note, and the person who asked is told straight away. The history stays on the task.

Built for how we work here

Sensible defaults for Bangladesh and South Asia.

Asia/Dhaka by default

Due dates, check-ins and routines follow your workspace time zone, not the server's.

Friday weekend

Weeks start on Saturday and "every working day" routines skip Friday. Change it in settings.

Prices in taka

Plans are priced per person in BDT as well as USD, with a flat office plan and no seat minimums.

Light on data

Server-rendered pages and very little JavaScript, so it stays quick on mobile data.

Getting your team in

Register an organisation, or join the one you work for.

  1. 1

    Create the organisation

Sign up, name your organisation and pick a starter template. You become the owner, with spaces, lists and routines ready.

  2. 2

    Bring people in

Send email invitations with a role and team, or share the join code. Admins approve join requests, or people with your company email join instantly.

  3. 3

    Share what each team needs

Spaces are open to all members or private to named people and teams. Guests, such as clients, only see what you share with them.

Questions

Frequently asked

About ten minutes. Create your organisation, pick a starter template (General, Operations, Sales, Software and IT, Agency, School office or Clinic), and your spaces, lists, statuses and a few routines are ready. Invite people by email or share a join code.

Yes, during early access every workspace gets every feature free. Paid plans will start later, with notice in the app and by email, and a free plan for small teams will stay.

Only if you invite them. Guests see only the spaces you share with them, and private spaces are visible only to the people and teams you add.

Pages are rendered on the server and send very little JavaScript, so lists, boards and My work load quickly on mobile data. It works in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer.

Yes. Any list, space or filtered view exports to CSV, and so do time entries. Your data stays yours.

Three ways: an email invitation with a role, a join code that sends a request an admin approves, or instant joining for people with your company email domain if you switch that on.
